Chinese style vegetarian restaurant located in the heart of Richmond. The ingredients used is a little different from other Chinese run vegetarian restaurants in a way that they focus more on the fresh ingredients instead of the gluten based ingredients.
I always come here with my mom whenever we crave for vegetarian food. Their food flavor is somewhat different from other chinese run veg restaurant in a way that they don't overwhelm the food with msg and soy sauce, yet its flavor is not bland. We always order the deep fried bean curd with basil leaf which was good. We also order their fried rice, I don't remember which one but I remember that it doesn't have so much oil in it and it was a little spicy. The value was also pretty reasonable especially with very polite and attentive servers. I will definitely come back here when I'm in Rmd.
I don't know why they named it SPICY.. the food is not focussed on Spicy at all!! The food is really quite good, and especially the lunch specials are great deals. They come with soup, a dish and rice for around 7-8 bucks, and it is actually good enough to fill me. I like coming here for lunch, their food is quite tasty, the service is outstanding. The restaurant creates a very quiet and peaceful atmosphere.
Ordered the avocado salad and seaweed/seeds fried rice. It was great who would of thought seeweed tasted good. No MSG junk you normaly get other places , you can tell everthing is fresh. Maybe because the good isn't mixed with meet in the kitchen. Loved it, will definetly come here often for dinner. I can't speak the language so it was nice the menu was in English with pics, nice variety of dishes.
