Vietnamese restaurant located on Blundell Road near Garden City.
I have eaten here a handful of times, because I enjoy Vietnamese food and culture. The ambience is pretty dull, except for the shrine area at the front of the restaurant, which is cute. The service is prompt and efficient. The server jokes with you, makes suggestions and makes you feel very welcome.
The food is great, the Pho is tasty, the Bun is perfectly cooked and not at all greasy. The vegetables are fresh and the noodles are the right texture. The peanut and fish sauce sides are both well done and flavorful. I enjoy the appetizer cold and spring rolls and a great bubble tea is also made there. I look forward to eating there again soon.
I had my first try at this place yesterday night. We had the house salad to start, shrimp salad rolls and (being so totally white) I only know it as a plate with chicken and a meatpie on rice with a side of salad. Everything was super delicious and my wife, who has a VERY sensitive stomach, thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well.
I also asked for a sub to go as I wanted to for lunch today. they kindly wrapped the "wet ingredients" in a separate bag so I could enjoy it today. I'm really looking forward to it!
