Beginning with a lighter note, I consider their pizzas by far as one of the best compared to others that I have tried. Having the crusts done just right with a nice subtle crisp to it as well as their flavorful dough and generous toppings award this pizza parlor a score of 4 in regards to their food. However, aside from their pizza being good, I have found their pricing to be consistently inconsistent. Every time I order, I always order the same items, however, upon arriving at my doorstep, the bill always seems to be different - ranging from a 1 to 2 dollar increase compared to the final cost the operator had told me. Often times I shrug it off but when I do question their inconsistency, they seem to lack a reason or explanation. Unfortunately, tonight's order was truly the cherry on top. I ordered my dinner in which the operator stated the total cost would be 28$. Arriving at my door, the bill came to 33.54$ in which I really had to start questioning the 5 dollar difference. All they could say to back it up was their driving cost, meanwhile they advertise FREE DELIVERY within their radius on their website, flier, and their boxes. Considering that I live within their delivery radius, they had nothing else to say. Needless to say, despite their pizza tasting good, I'd rather not be ripped off.
I decided to give this place a try after reading the reviews and overall, I feel happy as a first time customer. The ordering was simple and to the point. The order was accurate and communicated back to me effectively. I chose to order the "Everything" pizza and I would say that the toppings were fresh and the dough and sauce tasted nice. The pizza was not greasy, it was light and fluffy. This is one of the better places that I have eaten pizza in the Vancouver area, definitely a refreshing change to the regular chains out there. I will be ordering again soon.
Friday night just finished early at the bar heading home needing to work early the next day.
Felt hungry. Searched my phone for Round House Pizza. Finally found it! Ordered as I was walking home to get delivery and told them to call my cell once arrived. The guy on the phone was straight to the point with no other conversations...Pretty serious! Pizza will take 45 mins.... no problem I said. Just around the corner I saw a car parked outside my house and a guy came out holding a pizza warmer, OMG the pizza came in 30 mins way better then Dominos!
Pizza was hot, delicous and seriouly taste better the next day!
I order from these guys roughly every 2 weeks. Food is a little more expensive than most other pizza places, but totally worth every penny!
Very friendly people, Great toppings(always taste very fresh)! I have never been disappointed when ordering from these guys. Defiantly worth trying at least once!
*Note, Please read the menu CAREFULLY, I've read some negative comments about people who have ordered and gotten something they didn't want because they didn't bother to read the menu, Specifically the 2 for 1 deal!
Enjoy!
I`ve been ordering pizzas from here exclusively for a couple of years because they have BY FAR the best pizza I`ve ever tasted. No other place does a better crust or has better-tasting sauce. Round Table Pizza`s ingredients are excellent as well - fresh, with a nice hint of oregano in the sauce, which I love.
Unfortunately, though, in recent months this business has started to really skimp on the amount of toppings they put on their pizzas. Their pizzas always used to be HEAVY, as in heavy with toppings and heavy in weight. I would hold it in my hand in it would feel like a substantial slice! There was lots of what you ordered on it and TONS of cheese too.
My staple orders were always the BACON CHEESEBURGER pizza, and I had enough of them to know what they were like. So after recently eating there again, 3 times within a month, after being away from it for about 10 months (I was out of the Province), it was immediately evident that not only did the pizza have far less toppings on it than it used to, it also was WAY LIGHTER. It was definitely not the same as I had before.
A year ago I could barely finish 4 slices and would always take some home with me to have the next day. But nowadays I can easily finish the whole pizza!! And I am the same weight as I have been for the past 20 years, with the same metabolism, etc., so it`s not coz my appetite has changed, or anything like that
And it appears my getting less toppings wasn`t just a random fluke, because I had 3 different pizza-makers on 3 different nights make my pies, and every time the pizzas had substantially less ingredients on them. The cheese was way less as well.
So to sum up, yes, they make excellent pizza, but I am choked that they have cheaped-out on the toppings, especially after they raised their prices! And I have since made the conscious decision to not eat there anywhere near as much as I used to because of this change. So whereas I would have rated their food and value categories as OUTSTANDING-INCREDIBLE in the recent past, I feel I can now only give them a SOLID.
Round Table is hands down my favourite pizza place. It's cheap and they pile on about twice the toppings you would receive from other pizza chains like Pizza Hut, Dominos or Panago.
The shop is exactly what one would expect from a regular pizza shop so nothing new or special there.
The service is fine, I have yet to be annoyed with their service.
The value is great! It's always a two for one deal. So for about $30 you get two larges.
Now to represent the pizza. They don't go crazy with the toppings but it's completely above satisfactory levels. I have never thought vegetarian could taste so good, considering I'm too much of a carnivore to even bat an eye towards anything remotely related to vegetables. My favourite has to be the Hawaiian Chicken and the EVERYTHING. There's just so much toppings and good melded taste that always makes me come back for more. Value is seriously and absolutely top notch! Giant thumbs up
Definitely one of the best pizza places in the Vancouver area -- loads of toppings, good crust, cooked perfectly. Very fresh ingredients!
Great value, especially if you use the $2 off coupons they routinely put out. The only pizza place that is comparable is Steveston Pizza, but that's a different style altogether.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE pizza. Once you eat here, you can't go back. everything was delicious, you name it: the sauce, the dough. I had the deluxe, and needless to say, it's everything you love about pizza. It's the perfect balance of toppings too. Also, if you hold the pizza sideways, oil doesn't drip out of it like pizza hut does. That has my seal of approval.
The ambiance of the restaurant was mediocre; simply a standard pizza place. Everyone gets take out anyways. Once you grab take out from there, the next thing you'll be doing is taking out the trash..filled with all those pizza hut and dominos pizza coupons!
Two thumbs, legs, arms, and eyes up!
