food was ok although not good value for the price.
there was a problem at our table and the acting manager on duty, susan, was extrememly rude. maybe if she was more intelligent, she would have understood the situation better and acted more appropriately. calls to her supervisor were unreturned.
I was encouraged to attend the President's Cafe by an ad in the Richmond News which lauded their Prime Rib Dinner.
Because my previous experiences with the Radisson Hotels both in Canada and the USA was more than favorable I was more than prepared to accept their invitation.
This was my worst dining experience in 2007, and the price was no joy either
Went for lunch on a Sunday, greeted by the manager,Susan after 15 minutes of waiting. She was rude and unprofessional. She failed to greet us with a smile, spoke with haughtiness by telling us that we can't order from the dinner menu, only from the snack menu.Failed to ask us where we wanted to sit, since it's a "lounge" style restaurant, the customers should get to choose. As a manager of a somewhat prestigious hotel, she failed miserably.Since we are Asian,it was no surprise that she treated us the way she did,but when Caucasians entered the establishment she was very friendly, and smiling.A complaint will be in order!!
