Authentic Japanese food. The owners actually cook and prepare the food.
Never fails, lunch is always great! Sushi is made when order and always fresh! Had dine in and take out. Serice is prompt and friendly. Restraunt is kept clean always. Truly authentic Japanese! Oyako Don and negitoro rolls all the way! Small sitting area, guess main business is take out orders.
They had a makeover, so check it out. Real Japanese owners, I believe through generations, so it is authentic. I would say it is a good choice overall. I am all about supporting o'school good Japanese owned sushi joints. The food is the regular stuff, so it is pretty good and fresh.
We live in the neighborhood of this small restaurant. Decided to try it a couple of years ago and have come back often. We have tried most items on the menu and they are all awesome. So far it has been a great experience for us with great food. Try real sushi, real tempura and real gyoza, you won't be disappointed. Everything is prepared with care.
I ordered 3 basic rolls, California, Dynamite and Salmon. They all tasted very bad.
Everything else about the place was average, but I will not go back because the sushi simply was very very poor. The salmon roll looked pale and tasted the way it looked. It wasn't even orange, but rather a very pale shade of beige/pink.
