Traditional Beijing hotpot in
It's hard to notice this small restaurant as it is located in a relatively quiet richmond mall. However, this restaurant is great for those who crave for hotpot, especially if you can handle spicy food.
Ambiance - I will give it a 2 but to be honest there is not much ambiance in this restaurant (it's clean and that's about it).
Service - The only server in the restaurant also happens to be the owner. He's quiet at times but you definitely can't complain.
Food - I won't say the quality of food is top notch, but you get what you paid for. $30 for a 2-person meal is a good deal, since it's free for the specialty sauce (soy, spice, green onions, cilantro + other sauce that I you just mix them up and you won't regret it). You get 2 plates of lamb, 2 veggie, 1 choice of soy products, 1 choice of meatball and a plate of dumplings. Overall it's a good restaurant to visit if you are craving for hot pot and spicy food.
