I came here last night with my bf for late night dinner, we arrived at 11pm. The place was very quiet maybe it was kinda late. We first ordered house sake which was low quality and made my stomach feel uneasy. For food, we ordered crab salad that was actually imitation crab with mayo and cucumber which tasted alright. We got the hamachi sashimi that was served frozen to us and made me very unhappy though i didn't communicate it to the server. The hamachi was fresh and tasted great but it just made me feel as if the chef didn't bother having a repeat customer. The deep fried gyoza also wasn't good, maybe cuz I prefer the regular pan fried gyoza. We also had the prosciutto roll that with unagi, mango, and cream cheeze filling. The roll tasted good but it had only one slice of prosciutto on top of the rice so I couldnt taste it. I think I would try it again later in a couple of months but not anytime soon. I also wouldn't recommend anyone to drink the house sake.

The place was a lot smaller than I had imagined, but they were almost empty on a Friday night. The food was good, and I would recommend the place based on that.

The service was normal, but the waitresses were overbearing..they would explain the things on the menu as if we were too dumb to read the explanations ourselves. I know they were just trying to be helpful, but it was a bit unnecessary. There was a mix up with one of our orders too, but that happens..

The bill came out to be around $150 for 4 people without any alcoholic drinks (some of us hardly ate anything, and some of us didn't leave full)...so the value wasn't spectacular..but there was nothing to complain about the quality and taste of the food.

Overall, I think this is a place to come with a small group of people..the bill will rack up if it's over 4.

Unique, Delicious Experience

Being a Fusion restaurant, there were some unusual items on the menu and all that we tried were amazing but regular Japanese fare is available and is no less delicious. The artful presentation of each dish made it all that much more appealing. The atmosphere includng soft music, clean and tasteful decor as well as the warm, friendly staff made for a comfortable and relaxing evening. I would highly recommend Nobusan to any of my friends and family and will definitely be back again myself!

This was my second time to Nobusan, and I would strongly recommend it to anyone who likes Japanese fusion. Tonight we had the Black Dragon roll (tempura prawn with eel on the outside) which was delicious. The first time we went, the chef treated us to a few pieces of Black Dragon. The salmon nigiri was great, as was the vegetable udon. The edamame was a bit heavily salted for my liking. Nobusan is now licensed, so you can enjoy a nice big Asahi beer. The server was very keen (maybe a bit too much so), but you can tell she is very eager to gain return customers. The decor is nice; although with my short attention span, I found the big TV a bit distracting. They also have jazz or pop music playing softly. We ate a lot, shared a big beer, and the bill was $40. Try it out!!
