Not sure why it's under this category. This place is just a little bistro in a business complex. Most of the food is microwaved. If that's considered fine dining, you'll love this place.
I've been here about 4 times, only because I work in the complex and was too lazy to walk anywhere else. I've tried the sandwiches here and a couple of curry dishes. Nothing special. Service can be slow. Food not always fresh. Lots of places to eat in Coppersmith/Ironwood plazas ... not sure why anyone would make a special trip here.
Just horrible. Singapore vermicelli was inedible- had the strangest taste to it- I actually threw it out (!!)- I love this dish and it was the worst version I've ever had. Chicken with black bean sauce on rice- completely flavourless, clumpy overcooked rice, and overcooked vegetables. Small portions to boot! $10.99 for each and not even close to how big other Chinese places give. Never, ever again. Waste of money.
A coffeshop style cafe. Order at counter, pick up when called, ala starbucks, but with tasty food.
I like this place, usually pop in for a soup and sarnie (sandwich). Yummo, they will cater to your tastes too, and tend to remember your critiques to better serve you next time. Always a smile and hello, even the semi-forced, when slammed. Those in the industry know sometimes you need to hunker down and work, the stars spend half a second to greet, this tends to put you further in the weeds. Great service.
the food is fresh and tasty, the lady takes true pride.
Only downfall is a tendency to use the nuker.
I go a couple times a month.
I randomly stopped into the Neptune Bistro recently and had to share. This restaurant offers an interesting mix of Italian and Indian food. I decided I was in an Italian mood and selected a grilled Veggie Roma Fresca panini.
The lady there was very polite and friendly and didn't seem at all bothered by the rather rude customer in front of me. I was surprised to be offered a bowl of lentil soup as a first course! "On the house," the lady said to me. I could not refuse. The soup, and the sandwich, were phenomenal. The sandwich was made with a delightful mix of grilled and fresh vegetables, some excellent cheese, and fresh herbs.
The sandwich was a little smaller than I'd expected for the price, but the unexpected soup left me no cause to complain.
I'll be back to try their curry, pasta, and breakfast.
