With several locations in the Lower Mainland, Nando's Chicken offers flame grilled chicken and side dishes such as coleslaw, spicy rice and spring mix salads.
Food: I've had their peri peri chicken more times than I can remember. Great garden salads, excellent corn when in season, my partner loves their rice and their seasoned fries are not bad.
Service: you order and they bring your food to your table. You want water, you get it yourself and when you're done, they clean up after you. They're friendly at the counter when they take your order and they take away your empty plates. Good enough for me! It's actually better than a lot of other places that are supposedly "full-serve".
Value: it can be a little bit pricey for what you order - I usually get the quarter chicken breast and garden salad and its about $13 without a drink. In comparison to the surrounding HK cafes, this can be pricey but it's much healthier than the usual HK fare.
Ambiance: nice clean facility, comfy booths and a tv in the corner that has soccer on. Not much else to it but good enough for me!
Overall, I'd come here again and again since it's a healthy relatively cheap meal at a nice clean place. Don't expect fine dining and you'll be fine! Bon appetite!
When you get that craving for tasty chicken you have to come here. This place is always fun and easy if you're looking for a quick bite. There are so many types of chickens dishes that you can try. They have the standard quarter, half or full size chicken (which is brilliant), but if you want to try something different there are kababs, chicken burgers and salads. Nice, fun place to eat. Highly recommended for casual dining.
Nando's is always a great place to go for a cheap and quick meal. The food tastes great. Simple...you can't go wrong. I've been too many Nando's locations and this one in particular seems to be really good with service in terms of speed and friendliness. Make sure to buy some of their spices displayed on the counter. It's good for home cooking.
Very popular place amongst the locals but pricey and everytime I come here I still always feel hungry afterwards. I sometimes have to pour on extra hotsauce to fool my stomach into thinking its full.
For the same price I could go to Hons and still have leftovers for tomorrow's lunch.
Nando makes a awesome tasting BBQ chicken.I was there last week , I ordered a quarter chicken with their super hot sauce. The flavour was just right and hit the spot. The server at the counter was very friendly and helpful as I as was trying to decide what to order. You are not going to find another place to get this great tasting chicken for such a great price.I defintely recommand this place to my friends.
I tried this place when it first opened, years ago. It was pretty bad back then for taste and value.
I recently thought I'd give it another try and found that nothing has changed - it was bad way back when and it still is bad!
Ordered take out and the wait time was decent, about 10 minutes.
When I opened the order at home i found the half chicken to be small, about the size of a cornish hen, cooked too much and tough. The rice was hard and tastelees and the corn on the cob was shrivelled and dry. Not a great deal for $12.99!
You can get a BBQ Chicken at any of the major grocery stores for about $8, dribble some hot sauce on it and have a whole good sized chicken that tastes way better than Nando's.
Sorry guys, you won't see me back again - you simply offer a bad product.
