Mondo Roadside Eatery features casual fare with influences from Italy, Spain, Latin American, France and Asia. Formerly Papi's Ristorante Italiano.
Unfortunately right when we stepped through the door, service was absolutely horrible. We were completely ignored, even though, we made reservations. We weren't seated until 15 minutes later. We sat near the kitchen and were completely ignored. Our glasses were never filled up with water until we asked them to, which was a miracle to even get their attention. All we could hear was the waitresses complaining about other customers. Also, freaking out at each other when OUR order was missing and didn't go through!
The food on the other hand was pretty good but it is was not worth it. we definitely will not go back!
We wondered why they have business as we sat there for a long time. We noticed that most people who leaves, says goodbye to the kitchen. I guess they survive through friends of the kitchen, not new or outside customers.
The lesson we learned was that we should have just walked out right from the beginning.
