I don't know if the clientele of this place reads these websites, but here we go. Really awesome roast duck, and good chicken. Good Cantonese soul food all around, good choice. Definitely the roast stuff that will get people back. Nice people as well. Pretty comfy seats, sorry, haven't seen the bathroom. But good value!
The food is average and also inconsistent.
my biggest problem with the restaurant is not the food. I can live with the food for its price and for convenience's sake. It is the cleanliness and the service that are bothering me. I only buy take out from the restaurant b/c it is close to home. The lady behind the counter (who takes take out calls) is always on the phone or runs behind the counter like a chicken without head. Because she is always on the phone, the take out line up is always long. The bigger problem is no other staffs seems to care to help her with the clients waiting around for take out. They stand around, or do other stuffs but no one will come and help.
Today is the worst, i walked in for take out at a very quiet time (1 table w/ clients). First thing I saw was a big chicken bone on the floor. Gross. A couple more steps, a bloom and a dust pan was sitting around in the middle of the restaurant with ash like dust in the pan and around the bloom. I was totally grossed out. This guy, could be the owner saw me with the disgusted look on my face, took a look at the bloom, walked away without cleaning it up. I was shocked! He went behind the counter, stood around, while 2 other take out clients were waiting for the lady to get off the phone again, he did not help. The bloom, the ash-like-dust and the chicken bone are still there unattended when I left the restaurant.
If they don't care about the cleanliness in the front of the house, I cannot image how it is like back in the kitchen.
Totally not recommended!
