I have never tried the pizza from Mama's, but I can say that the pasta dishes are great value.
The baked pastas taste great, loaded with almost half an inch of clottery clogging mozzarella cheese!! *YUMMY* and come complete with garlic bread!
If you are in need of quick pasta take out, this is definately a place to try!
If you have tried their pizzas, please send a review.. I'm curious!
We called for delivery and the gentleman on the other side was very nice and patient.
We ordered the baked vegetarian tortellini and the Feta Special pizza. Both arrived in 30 minutes and was pretty good. The pasta is a large portion, baked to perfection with a nice spicy sauce. The pizza was also cooked well with lots of fresh ingredients. The crust seemed a little oily on the bottom, but other than that, not bad.
I'm a sucker for small town greasy spoons. You often find some real gems. Sadly, not in this case. This is another cheap Greek clone of a cheap food restaurant (at lofty prices). The ingredients are cheep, the presentation is poor, the service is horrible, and the food is.... average at best. The best test of a "Greek" restaurant is the Tsatsiki. At Mama’s, it's a lousy bowl of watery yogurt mixed with vinegar and dill. More like a sour cream soup. Pass! It was all down hill from there. Upon arrival, all the tables had dirty dishes.. looked like they were there for quite some time. On departure, they had no menus to take home. Sad for a restaurant that specializes in take-away pizza. Mama's is a dump. I can only presume that the rent is cheap.
