Well..It's Better Than the Foggy Dew

Preamble: casual dinner for four on a Friday night

Food: those who ordered burgers didn't think it didn't differ much in quality compared to places like Cactus or Earl's. I chose to the mushroom caps as an appetizer and got a fairly unpleasant surprise. They plated in escargot-type fashion with each mushroom buried under a mound of cream cheese. I think there was supposed to be crab in there somewhere.

Service: fairly busy night (although not a Canucks game) so some leeway should be given. generally efficient service.

Value: burgers for $8-9 in this day and age is not bad, even if it is a pub

Ambiance: it's a pub so dim lighting is to be expected. the multitude of old TVs is a little offputting however, in the era of HD. there aren't many good pubs at all in Richmond so if they bothered spending a bit of money on remodeling it'd probably do them alot of good.

A great place for drinks & food after work

I have been to Legends several times & have yet to be disappointed.

The staff are usually fast & friendly & the food is great (especially the Beef Dip -- yum, yum!!). It's great because if you don't want to listen to the noise of the pub, you can scoot over to the restaurant side & relax. Don't worry sports fans...there's still a big tv to watch the game on!

If you're a smoker, they have a covered & heated patio that's open all year.

The building is old, therefore isn't necessarily the nicest looking. But don't let that scare you away! Give it a try.

Great Food + Great Service + Beer = PARTY

The people that work there all come across as being very happy with their surroundings and this creates a very positive energy. This is a Kick ASS place to have a beer. Plus, there are an insane amount of TV's so anywhere you are sitting...you have a good view; watching Canucks or any sport is a good time here. I would recommend this venue to anyone.

Almost everything I've tried on the menu is very tasty. You can order anything from a salad, to pasta, to more traditional pub fare. The portions are very generous. Every month they have a new feature menu, so you don't get bored of the menu. The wings are the best wings ever, and the Legend burger is awesome!!! My only complaint is that you have to pay for pop refills, even if you are having a meal!!

Good pub food, but only for small crowds

Our lunch group used to be here weekly on Wednesday for the 1lb of Wings for $3.99 but for some reason we stopped going. We recently had a maternity leave party for one of the girls and needed a location for 30+ people. Legends certainly has the room. We preordered and requested separate bills. When we arrived, we were seated promptly as the tables were already set. It went downhill from there. Food didnt arrive for almost 35 minutes.. many of the orders were not totally correct (ie fries instead of salad) but most people had good things to say about their food. It took about 20 minutes to sort the bills out, as some of them were incorrect as well. I've been here several times with a small group of 4 or 5 people and the service/food has been great with no problems.. so I guess small is better than big in this case!

Hockey and talking!

From the outside, Legends looks like it's been here for awhile. From the inside, the furnishing confirms that fact. But that hardly matters when your group of friends can create their own ambiance. Legends lets you do that by separating the restaurant into 2 sections-a louder, bigger part full of cheering fans, or a quieter section where you can chat amiably with friends, while still enjoying some hockey on the flatscreen tv.

And enjoy you will. With pitchers and daily specials offered, Legends is quite affordable. The mixed drinks are nothing out of the ordinary, but combined with nachos, wings or pizza, the experience is satisfying. Legends is nice and casual, encouraging multiple visits on your nights off.

Interesting...

So the food here isn't that great, but the location is perfect, and the food is good enough that its an ideal place to just come to any night of the week and meet some young ladies and see if they are into it, when you don't feel like being alone, and hang out in a pub with a fun, atmosphere. Its the perfect balance between pub, and restaurant. I'm not picky, so really a OK plce and sometimes there are legitimately good looking ladies here.

Low class

Only been here once or twice, but there were so many 'questionable' characters hanging around, I wasn't even interested in trying the food after tasting the fries. There were some cheap looking couples or people trying to couple. Beer selection was just typical American crap from what I remember. I need to find somewhere with a little class in this town.
