Mrs. C and I were coming back from a quick trip to the USA, and we decided to get some bubble tea to share, as our blood BBT levels were getting low. That is always dangerous. We stopped in at J Zone, and perused the menu. This place does bubble teas, snacks and noodles. Although it was small, it seemed comfortable and clean. They have some flavours of BBT for $2.75 but we went for the coconut at $3.25 (plus tax).
Service was good and the server/manager looked familiar. She told us she used to be at the downtown Hon's but is now her own boss. I am a big supporter of small business, but I have to be honest and admit the tea was not that great. It wasn't expensive, but it tasted cheap, so not really good value for the money and poor flavor. That was disappointing.
We might try other menu items next time, but no more BBT.
