Unbelievably as THE BEST Hot Pot Restaurant I have been to in Canada... FURTHERMORE... It has an All You Can Eat Menu that serves food better than most A La Carte Places... will be my regular from now on!!! Definitely worth trying!!!

We were so impressed that we decided to order some Geoduck half way through our AYCE menu. However, they were out of it! Would have been good if we were able to try it, may be next time!

Best congee ever

My friends and I were on our way to Fishermen Terrace when we saw this new hotpot restaurant. I think it used to be called Four Season Hot Pot. We decided to tried out this restaurant since they advertise that they serve dim sum.
Somehow this elegant looking restaurant deserves a better name than "Hot Pot One". Its quite nice inside, bright and clean. I was told this restaurant just open a week ago.
The waiter showed us the proper way of serving tea by washing the new tea with hot water, then throw away the water, then pure new water into the wet tea. There was a list of tea that we can choose from. He also showed us how to used the cooking range to boil our water. Nice!
We wanted to tried the congee. The congee base cost $4.25, then you choose what you want to put in the congee. Each ingredients cost $3.25. We picked the watercress and fish fillets. We watched our congee being cooked. It includes the condiments to go with the congee, i.e. peanuts, green onions and preserve veg. It was quite an experience to eat here. We also order a couple of dim sum dishes. One of the dish was the deep fried geoduck w/ peppery salt. It was delicious.
Service was great. Our waiter was bilingual. He checked on us and the kettle to check the water level.
The bill was around $30 with 10% discount. Not a bad deal for 3 people.
Its a definite return for my congee fix.

Great Weekend Tea with Friends or Family!

I went here with family on Saturday morning for dim sum and was quite impressed with everying from the service to the food. I have to agree with Panda that the congee is amazing. I especially like how they leave the ingredients raw and cook it at your table. The best part of the meal is their tea. They serve your tea in tradional Chinese tea cups which is great so you can control the strength of the tea. As well the tea is of very high quality and will keep you there well after your meal. Service is very attentive and you do not have to ask for anything the waiters are very well trained and will notice you if you look like you need help. It is not only good in terms of a Chinese restaurant but compared to any type of restaurant. If you do order the congee remember to order a few less dishes as it is huge. I definitely recommend going here for dim sum and tea. They also have all their menus in english as well which is very convenient.
