One of many restaurants in the Yaohan Centre food court.
I tried the deep fried calamari at this place based on the enticing picture displayed at the counter. While the calamari did not look as nice as the advertisement, it was hot, tasty and made to order, and came with some deep fried chili slices. I also enjoyed the complimentary tea, which was a bonus. Service was fast and friendly. A good and inexpensive way to meet the afternoon snack craving!
Service: Very friendly! Complimentary tea is a nice gesture.
Ambiance: It's in Yohan food court. It's clean and has plenty of seats in the afternoon. Don't know about lunch time though.
Food: Inexpensive and portion is in decent size. Complimentary tea is nice. Taste could be better. It needs more seasoning, I think. It's not greasy and it seems fresh enough. But I keep thinking something is missing. It's seasoning. Yup! They are selling Taiwanese food but the seasoning is not "Taiwanese" enough. Tapioca Express in Richmond is more close to what Taiwanese food actually tastes like in Taiwan, more authentic.
