This is the place where the Mad Greek was before they moved.
Love the food, this Vietnamese food is good -- Chicken or beef skewers, vermicelli, and a pork spring roll and I'm good to go.
Pho mmmm good soup!
Deep fried bananna for dessert, and we are good to go.
The place is kinda dated since it reminds me of the old place that used to occupy it's space with little to no changes.
Our waitress was polite and made sure that we were happy.
All in all good value for your dinner dollars and very, very casual dining gives an asian flavor a fun time out.
Our family of five decided to try having vietnamese food to switch it up from our usual haunts. We tried the spring rolls and salad rolls as appetizers and unanimously agreed the spring rolls were really delicous. Nice and crispy with a very tasty filling and nummy dipping sauce. The salad rolls were okay but the peanut sauce was what gave them flavor.
My husband tried the short ribs ( I'd read reviews that said they were really good) but thought they were a little tough. My 3 adult kids tried the beef pho, and a chicken salad that they were not too impressed with. They also tried a prawn and pineapple dish and thought it was pretty good. I had the chicken satay over vermicelli and found it absolutely delicious.
Service was very good. We ordered more spring rolls and they came very promptly. All meals were very nicely presented and I would definitely go back...maybe I'll just have to bring a friend instead of family! LOL
Also, the parking lot was small and full but we found street parking around the corner without difficulty. Not too bad for Richmond on a Saturday around 130pm
Not too bad food quality for the kind of price they charge and the menu selection is reasonable too. Service was quite friendly though the decor seems a little bit odd for a vietnamese gig....
The Pho Ga is my favourite and they do it not bad comparing to other vietnamese restaurant that I have been.... Coffee is still as good too....So if you are one who likes noodles in soup base, this is not a bad place to go when you feel like having one on a rainny day!!!
I've been to many vietnamese restaurants & this is one of the best.
Pho Hung in Burnaby is better for some things.
Ambiance - very good - much better than Pho Hung.
Parking - so far have found a spot to park out front although there are not many spots.
Service is good. Waitresses friendly & prompt.
Food (pho & rice dishes) are very good.
Hard to think of one thing I like about this place:
1- Service was horrible, they retook our orders twice, brought out the wrong food about 2 times, and half of us finished eating before the other half got their food.
2- Broth was weird - kept finding random things in it (chicken in a beef order).
It just wasn't a very good experience.
Hi, we tried Green Lemon grass 2 nights ago. I was not sure what to expect, perhaps the usual Vietnamese type restaurant. But this was different. The food was tasty , and different from the usual Vietnamese restaurants in Vancouver, Richmond area. I was impressed by the friendly staff , great food and reasonable prices. I'm usually not much of a vietnamese food eater. but this place changed my perception. We will definetely go back for sure !
