Fresh Slice offers fresh, made to order pizza for take out and delivery as well as in-store pizza by the slice.
Food: tried hawaiian and one with pepperoni, peppers, mushrooms. Both were bland and greasy.
Service: did take out, standard pizza place service.
Value: comparable to other pizza places around.
Ambiance: can't say much, it's a take out pizza place.
Wouldn't try again b/c didn't taste that good, not especially cheap. And I can see the oil on the slice so I'm skeptical about that low fat, healthy claim written all over the box.
I phoned in my order for an extra large Super Combo Feast saying that I'd be there in 20 minutes. I arrived there in 35 minutes. When I got there, I was charged $19.99 for my pizza, when it should have been $16.79 ($14.99 + 12% HST). They had a child working on the cash register (she must've been around 9 years old). I pointed out to the young lady taking the orders that $19.99 wasn't the right amount. She said that was because of the tax. I told her that there's no way tax would be that much. She rang up the order herself and finally got the right amount after several unsuccessful tries. She told me it would be a while for my pizza.
I had to wait another 10 minutes for my pizza, which means that it took them a total of 45 minutes to make my pizza from the time that I placed my order!
Message: I would not recommend this place for take-out orders because they don't start making your pizza until you show up
The pizza itself had a nice, light crust. However, there wasn't very much meat on the pizza. I could barely taste any pepperoni - at times, it felt like I was eating a vegetarian pizza.
