Buns Master is a franchisor of retail bakery stores located across Canada.
A typical Buns Master location is equipped with ovens and other baking equipment and produces a wide selection of bread and bakery products on-site on a daily basis.
The bakery product line is complemented in many locations with an assortment of deli items, made-to-order sandwiches, pizzas and desserts.
On this side of Richmond there really is not much for lunch and Buns Master perfectly shows that. They over price their food and offer service knowing people in the area do not have much options for lunch. Sandwiches are really expensive and the hot food they offer is minimal and does not cut it. Now that a Quiznos is opening down the road I see their lunch traffic dying down.
I'm not a culinary expert, but this place has the best bread around, without preservatives, together with a decent selection of salami, roast beef and cheeses.
Their lunch specials (actually more than one option always) are multiple and you can actually taste how fresh it is, with good quality ingredients.
They seem to have done something to the ambiance and now it's actually very pleasant to have your lunch or drink your coffee here. I appreciate the service offered, which is faster than anything around here. If you work in this area, you know what I'm talking about.
The owners themselves are here all day, so they make sure every aspect is shining or get to solve any issue immediately, such as one time with some wet floor issue or a deli suggestion I made.
As for price, or should we say value for money, it's the best around. I don't want to spend my hard earned CAD in my lunches or job meals! It allows me to be very satisfied and invest the money in my more exotic dining outings with my lady.
So, having worked at industrial zones and science recintos since I was a teenager, I'm more than grateful for their service.
