We just moved into the area and wanted pizza for dinner. We try to avoid the big chains so we settled on Bella. We were a little disappointed with the skimpy toppings but they were fresh. The crust was nice and thin .
The guy on the phone sounded nice enough but when we showed up to pick the pizza up, he barely cracked a smile.
Prices on their website is different from their take-out menu (about $2 higher).

They make great pizza. Unfortunately it's not 2 for 1, but that's not always a bad thing.
The freshness and quality of the ingredients is what make this pizza. And I love the crust.
Even though I rated ambiance a 4, it's not...but that's because it's delivery or take out.
The worst pizza I have ever had. The cheese is running and the whole pizza just seems like it was soaked with water.....it's worse than any frozen pizza you can buy from a supermarket. Never will order from them again. This is a very negative review but I am just soooooooooo disappointed. I wanted to have good pizza tonight. However, the delivery was fairly quick. Probably becasue it is not far from my location.
This is often a favorite for pizza takeout. I can't rate the service or ambiance with much confidence as I usually get take out and my boyfriend picks it up. But the pizza is of good quality, not too greasy or dried up.
Bella does have a really good non-greasy crust (e.g. Pizza Hut). We've ordered from both the downtown and Richmond locations before, and last Friday, from this Richmond location.
We had a Hawaiian and the Cappricciosa. The quality of the ingredients was good, but whoever was making it that night was very skimpy on the toppings.
Perhaps our pizza chef was the same guy who answered the phone, who apparently, was having a bad night. Hubbie was trying to give the guy directions for delivery and the phone guy cut him off saying he was too busy [to listen].
Don't think I could confidently recommend this location.
We ordered for delivery and I must say that Bella Pizza is simply outstanding. It is delicious with generous amount of toppings on it. Tastes like the better pizzas of the 70s and 80s rather than the new millenium style of charge and skimp. Good price and pizza the way it should be made.
Service was faster than ever. I'll always order from Bella from now on.
