Favourite lunch spot!

This is a great White Spot to go to. Ciara gives us great service every time. I love the Veggie Burger with Triple O sauce- they char-grill them here so they are crispy and flavourful (not mushy like most)! Love the fries and honey mustard sauce. I can tell that this location has great management, sometimes they even come by the table to check on us. It's a fantastic place for lunch during a busy shopping day!

There is a romantic feel from the moment you walk in, with strings of little lights and a Tuscan decor. Absolutely outstanding service, offered a wine tasting as soon as you sit down, and unlimited bread sticks/soup/salad with every entree!

A couple of times we have ordered the trio appetizer platter, which we have stopped getting because nearly all of the options are deep fried and come out a little dry. The ziti four-cheese pasta is delicious! Italian sodas are a nice treat to have in lieu of dessert. Also very nice to see the managers walking around and interacting with the tables. They charm us every time. I am sure we will be back many more times.

This place is better every time we go! Korean style BBQ in the center of the table, and some crazy sushi rolls on their menu. There is a photo album at each table with almost every menu item on it! Nice ambience, prices are great and has better service than similar spots around town. I would highly recommend it!

Eatery, The3431 W Broadway, Vancouver
Cool decor, bad food

The Eatery has a cool menu and decor, but one of the worst sushi plates I have found in Vancouver! There are other places that offer much better taste, quality and value in their sushi than here. Next time we are craving the crazy style sushi rolls we will stick to Ebisu (Robson) or Charcoal (Richmond).

We ordered a dozen wings (honey garlic), Captain Crunch roll, Paper Crane roll, Jalapeno Popper roll, Tex Mex roll & The Volcano. The wings were breaded & deep fried, only had a tiny bit of sauce and were very dry. The rolls were so dissapointing- each were extremely small and did not taste very fresh. The Captain Crunch (deep fried California roll) had lots of rice but almost no filling. Don't think I will be going back here again.

A break from the average west coast entree!

I visited with two friends on a Thursday night, wait for a table was about 40 minutes. There is a great culture and vibe here that is nice to take in.

We had a pitcher of Pina Colada ($29) which produced 6 full glasses in total; definitely a good buy. The Chimichangas were huge, very meaty with lots of sauce. Outstanding fresh guacamole. The portions were generous with the perfect amount of mexican rice & refried beans (also both very good). You cant find any food like this in the city, definitely a great place for a night out but make a reservation!
