Walked in around 1:30pm to get some lunch - the place was empty, which should have been the first giveaway. Dark, run-down cafe-style ambiance, with old, cracked furniture. Ordered the chicken and asked for medium spice.

The service was fantastic (the owner took his time explaining the menu & Ethiopian food to me), but when it came time to pay the bill, he manhandled two plastic spoons (when what I really needed was a fork!) with bare hands and shoved them in the bag; the same hands he handles cash with and does who knows what else. The glasses hanging down right above the cash register were also filthy. I can only imagine how the food is prepared.

The food itself was okay, but definitely not medium spice. I like spicy food and insist on a healthy dose of Sriracha with just about every meal, but this food was too hot without any additives. Way too hot.

Won't be going back there again.

Should have eaten the money, instead.

Ordered the Lamb Kafta with brown rice & hot sauce, and the red lentil soup. The meal arrived with about 30 grams of cold rice, the absolute worst salad my taste buds have ever had the misfortune of tasting, a slab of meat roughly the size of my index finger, and a single drop (literally!) of hot sauce. The soup was only mildly different from a warm cup of water. The two olives in the salad were the highlight of the meal. Not quite worth the associated ~$20 price tag.

The menu contains a mix of several different cousines, which should have been the first cue of this place being suspect. The interior felt basic and somewhat run-down, despite this being a new "restaurant." The simple lunch order we placed took nearly 30 minutes to be completed, and the food was mediocre and quite overpriced. Not worth stepping inside.

Dined in a few times and enjoyed the Butter Chicken. Decent food and the portions are quite large. Comes with rice included in the cost.

Called to order delivery ("Free delivery" stamped all over their take out menu) and found out that when ordering delivery, rice does not come with the curry. So much for "free delivery" - complete sham.

Menu also says they close at 10pm on weekdays; I called 15 minutes ago (9:30pm) and was rudely told that "we're closing now" and they would not take my order. Not impressed, and will not be going back.
