I called in an order for pick-up at about 10:30pm tonight. I arrived approx. 15 minutes later. I was greeted with "Just to let you know our kitchen is closed and we're closing"... Okay.... just wanted to pick up my food order.... So 2 of the staff scramble around in the back retrieving my french onion soup and steak salad. When the woman comes out with my order the soup is all over the place with saran wrap covering it so it won't fall all over the floor. Fine.
So I ask to pay debit and she leaves and walks around trying to find someone to help her use the interac machine. Fine.
So I pay and say thank you and leave.
When I get home I open my soup which is no longer the french onion soup I ordered, and my "steak salad" was a bun and a beat of meat... (I thought it was someone's doggy bag)
So I call them back to let them know that my order had been mistaken and the same woman who helped me answers the phone and sounded very nervous... "The kitchen is closed" Fine.
So I ask if I can come and get a refund... I then here some asshole in the background saying "Tell them we're closed, I'm sure they can come back tomorrow"....
I am pretty sure that the bar was pretty steady and there were still quite a few tables occupied... and you can't refund my bill? WTF.
Overall worst take-out experience yet.
