Overall: I've been to many Chinese restaurants across the Lower Mainland with varying experiences but this was undoubted my most disappointing and frustrating dining experience thus far. We were ignored, despite a full complement of staff and few diners.
Food: Our group ordered and mostly ate Peppered Tenderloin Beef (quite tough with too much cornstarch), Gai Lan with Oyster Sauce (good), S&S Boneless Pork (tasty, not too saucy), Steamed Rice (quite sticky) and Chicken Chow Mein (overly crispy noodles with a heavily cornstarched mushy mixture of beanspouts, mushrooms, carrots and very little, if any chicken).
Service: Extremely poor. Had to repeatedly track down server and ask for items at least 3-4 times before getting them. Even getting and paying the bill was a long process. In a restaurant that was not busy, with so many staff working, this complete lack of service was completely unacceptable.
Ambiance: Not good. Stark. Shakey and crooked plywood table tops, carpets in need of replacing and a constant and most irritating telephone ring that was very disruptive to conversation.
Extremely frustrating experience and will not return or recommend this restaurant to anyone.
