Great Sukiyaki!

This was a very nice dining experience. I was a bit hesitant at first, because all-you-can-eat restaurants usually mean poor service, quantity-over-quality food, and ordered items being "lost". This place had none of those. The meat was tender, the vegetables were plentiful in variety and very fresh, and everything was very tasty. The service was good, our waiter was on the ball. We never had to wait very long for our orders. For $14, this AYCE dinner was totally good value. Would definitely return.

A very nice dining experience

We went for dinner on this past friday. It was a very pleasant dining experience overall. We had a nice corner table with our backs to the window, and we got to sit side by side rather than across from each other, which was a nice change.
The food was superb. The wait staff was on the ball the whole time we were there. They were friendly, stopped by the right number of times to show that they cared without being too imposing.
Try the steak tartar. It was delicious.
Would definitely consider coming back.

Better than I thought

Going into the restaraunt tonight I had low expectations, after reading some of the reviews on this website. But it turned out to be a great experience, and I'm glad I went.

I made reservations online through www.opentable.com, and in the notes section I mentioned that it was my girlfriend's birthday and I wanted it to be a nice experience. I think by doing that perhaps we got better than average service.

Food / Drinks

For $10 you could get a wine sampler, which comes with three 2 oz glasses of wine to taste. It was quite nice, especially for two people that don't really drink very much.
We started with the oysters, they were absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend them. I got the pork belly as an entree, I think they had a shortage of it that night because it was a combo of pork belly and pork loin (i was told about the change before ordering). My girlfriend had the duck as an entree. Both entrees were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. For dessert we shared the chocolate fondant. The server brought it to us with a lit candle! My girlfriend was very touched, and led me to give the server a more generous tip.

The server was very courteous. She came by to check on us around 10 times during our meal. It wasn't very busy when we went, so I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it. (Also maybe that special note that I wrote online when I made a reservation helped). She definitely made it a memorable experience.

Average. I found it quite plain inside, very minimalist. I noticed that the servers' uniforms matched the paint on the walls.

Overall, it was a great experience, give it a try if you are into fine dining. My advice, book online and say its for a special occasion!
