Seriously, if you're a picky eater, go somewhere else. But if you're an average class citizen who is always set back on cash, this place is a gold field.
People say that this place is trash and the food's leftovers, well yeah, some is, i'm not going to lie about that, but overall the food is pretty damn tasty. Value of this restaurant is out of this world. 9 Bucks for everything? Holy shit, i just shat a brick.
This is a haven for those setback, and a pretty good damn haven it is. Uncle Willy's might not be the best, but its do-able. Service is do-it-yourself, so you choose what you like, and eat.
Those who aren't setback on cash and want to go somewhere nice, go somewhere else. This isn't it.
Those who need food to stuff them for another day. This is the spot to go to.
I know this is an all you can eat, but the selection of meat is pathetic. Pork, beef and fish paste? what the heck? Wheres the other cuts of meat? and what with the dinky cuts? These things are like frozen, and when you try to put it into the pot, it scrapes, and the meat fibers are ruined.
Also, thanks to the guy below. After eating like 30 boxes, this pot taste like shit. Honestly i would've figured that they would change your pot and replace it with a new one, instead you get the same one you burned the shit out of the leftovers you didn't want to eat. Gross. I rather spend my money elsewhere.
I personally say that because it's true! If you like the large portions that over load your tastebuds, this is it.
I like it, but i think it's a bit heavy. Everything on the menu tastes great, just don't get the red sauce, since its regular ol'tomato sauce. Service is dependent. I say that because i've been here numerous times, and i've been seated all over the place. Make sure you get seated where a waitress walks by. If you're stuck in a corner seat, good luck, you might as well walk over to him/her. The value of the meal is a 5/5 for me. Always a good stuffer, and with left-overs to boot! Mind you, make sure if you're going to bring back food, don't bring seafood back. Seafood will quickly turn nasty overnight.
This is my go-to place when i need a quick bite. Uncle Fatih has an awesome variety of pizza. My favorite is the Beef and Blue Cheese - Delicious all over.. Heck, i'm drooling about it right now. However, a quick word about their delivery. I personally say don't go for it. It's a pizza joint for a reason, you go in and eat it fresh. There are new pizza out on the counter every 5 mins when its busy. So i say its a lot better to go in person than through the phone. Also! some of the items in the store that aren't in the menu. So theres another reason to go in person. I think i'm going to go get some right now...
The food here is delicious! I came here with a couple of guys (6-8), ordered the largest meal on the menu, i think the Elvis platter? It was very very good, but it didn't fill me up. Service is okay, but need more people on the floor. But what makes this restaurant different from the others is the glass bottle pop. Cane sugar Cola, rootbeer, and sprite.
I say this with truth. Number 9 is good, to an extent. I mean, you really can't expect much for a 24/7 style hk cafe to run perfectly, can you? The food is actually pretty good considering that. Service could use a bit of help, but i mean, its jam packed everyday. Overall, food is pretty good- worth its price, service is do-able, and the people there are happy. Good job #9.
