I go to Temaki Sushi maybe once a month. Not all the menus are great, but generally they exhibit solid, constant quality. Especially their special rolls and prawn tempura are one of the best among the same kinds. But I like the Temaki before the expansion better. We used to have wait longer but the service is generally okay.
I've been there several times recently, but I only have bad memories. Once, I went there with a few friends, and we ordered a cup of coffee for each of us and a dessert to share. And the waitress bluntly said we had to order a minimum of $8 per each. We've been there many times and that was the first time we ever heard about such rules. It was quite afternoon with only a couple of tables occupied. I wouldn't bother mentioning such a minuscule thing if she was even polite or looked sorry. And I never had cakes I ordered without some trouble. Once, they wrote an entirely wrong name on the cake I ordered and I had to make several trips to finally get the cake making several calls, and their poor excuses were not even funny. I won't go there any more. It is very sorry to see once my favorite restaurant turning into mediocre restaurant.
