Browns Socialhouse215 Newport Drive, Port Moody
The Great Hotspot Newport Village Needed!

I was a fan of Browns for being like an Earls, Joey's or Cactus Club, but different and better. Now that they opened up in Port Moody, I'm extremely happy because I have a place to go where I know the experience will be consistent.

The food is great and they have a handful of knockout dishes. The General Tao's Chicken (which I have everytime I go) is delicious and the Dragon Bowl is another must-have. I forget the name of the dish, but there's a salad with seared tuna and it is the best salad I've ever had. I wouldn't recommend getting a burger from there (they're not that bad, but they're not the greatest) and I hear the pizzas are pretty decent.

The service is outstanding. On busy nights, the owner will be there and making sure that you're fully satisfied or else there will be one of a few managers there to ensure a happy meal. The service staff has the most beautiful girls I have ever seen and there is one Asian girl there who I fell in love with (I'd say her name, but I don't think I'm allowed to).

The value is good for most of the stuff. It's a higher end of the mid end restaurants, I guess you could say.

You need to know that it is a "hipper" restaurant and so the noise level is pretty high. Still a good place to bring a date, but I wouldn't go here for the first one. The venue is quite beautiful and definitely the nicest out of all the Browns restaurants that I've been to. The only thing I don't like is the big lcd screen at the urinal in the men's washroom. Kind of gives you a headache haha.

I know my review was quite descriptive, but I go there once or twice a week so I know the place inside out.
