Pretty good experience
Submitted Sunday, February 3, 2008 - 10:58pm [Dine in]

Food - I came in for dineout and had the clam chowder which was very good. The entree pasta was nothing amazing to me but was pretty good nonetheless. The cheescake was the best part of the meal; tasty and big portions!

Service - Service was ok. I think we were a pretty big party (12~) and it was busy so I didn't expect the service to be amazing. But okay nonetheless.

Ambiance - I came in with high expectations and was disappointed as our spot wasn't the best one for the view (which was the reason our party chose that place, the view of English Bay) but nonetheless was a nice restauraunt.

I would come here again. Valet parking proved to be very useful as there wasn't much parking around in the area and the valet parker was very patient :)

Very Pleasant way to end the night

I didn't even know about this restauraunt until dineout came around this year... and then decided to try it with some friends.

Food - The food was pretty good. Portions were pretty good for dineout (not like I expected a lot more). The complementary appetizer bread that they serve is a great way to start the night as it allows for conversation and a good snack. I had the manhatten style clam chowder and although smaller than I would have liked, it was still unique and good.

Service - The service was great. At one time we had about three waiters working our table of 4 people! Water filling, bringing entrees, and one picking up our appetizer plates. They were also continually checking up on us and were delighted to take a photo for us. Definitely a group of hard working people and it shows in their wonderful service.

Ambiance - Probably one of the greatest views in Vancouver from a restauraunt (at least from what i've seen). The restauraunt is lit dimly at night only to amplify the beauty of the downtown lights and the mountains. Creates a very intimidate atmosphere which makes for a good dining spot. Will definitely come here again.

Overall - Very Pleasant and lots of room for parking = my kind of place.
