I have been several times it gave it a great recommendation so our group came for dinner. It was such a disappointment!..The steak which was requested cooked through came burnt, hard to the point that a steak knife wouldn't cut it. The potatoes were burnt beyond being edible, staff assured me they come that way they just warm them. If thats true they should change suppliers. The only redeeming item was the lobster starter. I would have to think long and hard before I spent a buck at this place and will never recommended it to anyone.
Feb. 09 we went for dinner, nice seating and the music was great.
I had the potate skins, which were burnt on the skin side but the inside was okay. I had the steak, med/well which came rare! The staff never returned or came close enough to call to untill everything and everyone else was finished. They did eventually take it back and do it right and it was very nice tho I was to full to take more than a bite to try it. I think if it had been done right it would have been great. I plan to give them another try.
The weather was great, the service wonderful and the seafood salad was to die for. We sat outside on the west patio looking at the water you could not ask for more. The server was attentive, bring free refills of ice tea as needed usually without request. The seafood salad had scallops, prawns, salmon, halibut on a bed of assorted greens. You could pick the dressing from the many they have. Then dessert, oh boy it was great. I would go back in a heart beat.
I had dinner here and it was great. The food was very good and service was of a good standard. There was lots in each serving and I would go again. I would recommed this to anyone looking for good Chinese food in a clean well run restaurant.
I was to a buffet lunch here, and what a surprise. I never new this restaurant was here and boy have I missed out on good food. The buffet was about the best I have ever had. Lots of food choices, lots of food, great taistes and then topped by an array of desserts to die for. I will be looking for an excuse to go back.
Well this was certainly a different "chinese retaurant" I guess Hong Kong style is ?????. The sweet and sour pork was okay, the sauce good, but the pork was chuncks bigger than a toonie, little meat lots of fat. It was odd to be served the soup at the end of the meal rather than at the start. I can't see stopping there again.
