Cold Pad Thai
Submitted Saturday, October 9, 2010 - 9:35pm [Delivery]

I ordered from here a few weeks ago. Their menu is pretty decent and my apartment elevators have been advertising these guys for a while now.

I ordered Pad Thai and some onion cakes.

Onion cakes were cold, cut in four and the strangest consistency I've ever experienced.

Pad thai was on the lukewarm side, too tomatoey for my tastes, but the portion was pretty large

I won't be ordering from these guys again.

Not Vancouver's Best Butter Chicken
Submitted Saturday, October 9, 2010 - 9:21pm [Delivery]

I was craving butter chicken and on this cold, wet, rainy night, and opted for delivery. We ordered two dishes, one of them being Butter Chicken.

I was quite surprised to find it smoky - I've had butter chicken all over town and I've never had it taste smoky before. Very strange.

The Malai Kofta was pretty tasty, and the paneer pakoras were good as well.

Really really disappointed in the butter chicken though. I ended up throwing it out and sharing my friend's Kofta instead. We ordered enough naan that it was enough (portions are large).

Value wise, it's a bit on the pricy side ($50 for dinner for two people) but we're both full and didn't have to leave the house.

I rated everything as 3 - Solid, as I don't think anything was 'outstanding' or 'incredible', but for delivery Indian food, it was solid (minus the butter chicken).

Delivery was within the stated 45 minute timeline.

I may order from here again, but I'm going to avoid the butter chicken.
