This restaurant is owned by the brother of the owner of J&J wonton noodle house so they have similar items on their menu available- if you want spring rolls you must try the familys own spring rolls with little shrimp and peaches...they are very good
Im not a huge fan of chinese food, but I thought this place was very good and consistant and everything always tastes fresh! by far the best thing on the menu to try is their own springrolls with little shrimp and peaches(sounds odd but it is mouth watering...) a MUST TRY
best overall restaurant to go to in victoria! the sweet potato fries are out of this world, the oysters are phenominal and the beef burgers/grilled halibut burger are oh so good! anyone looking to try a really good restuarant in victoria HAS to go to ferris's! and the prices are great! and you get good bang for your buck! if you want something a bit more closed off you can head upstairs to their lounge area(a little more expensive though)
I found out about this restaurant in vancouver, and was surprised to find them coming to victoria. They have a wide selection of enjoyable appetizers, entres, desserts and drinks...you can get things from jambalaya bowls to sloppy beef burgers to potato skins...a nice selection and a good choice and good for your buck in victoria(right downtown) parking might be tricky though in the evening
Could be the best mexican restuarant in victoria...need I say more? the restuarant is very funky on the inside and offers a nice selection of mexican cuisine! I love the tortilla chips they have here too they offer them with sour cream, salsa and guacamole! so good...
This restaurant has a great selection of choices for those who like french cuisine, and although its considered a "french restaurant" they have many other choices on their menu-I tried the oysters and they were quite good, followed by the mussels and frites and creme bruele...the whole meal was quite enjoyable and I didn't find that the frites were overdone what so ever- I have suggested this restaurant to friends and family and they have only had good experiences there aswell
And the good thing about Brasserie L'ecole is that if you don't want to drop to much money, you could go for a few appet. for a fraction of the price and still enjoy yourself!
If your tired of the typical blizzrd or dipped cone at dairy queen or baskin robbins then beacon hill drive in is the place to go to get an amazing creamy icecream(lets just hope you aren't looking for a low-fat dessert!) I have never eaten at the drive in before, I have only ever had icecream here...but every once in awhile I crave the beacon hill icecream! so its worth a try for any sweet tooth!
5th street's menu offers a choice from a $5,$10,$15 dollar meal, so you can choose from a variety of items in your own price range. I was always able to find something I enjoyed eatting at 5th street, i've always enjoyed their soups, and the roast chicken dishes they offer are quite enjoyable. Everytime i've been in there it has been quite busy...low lighting and a little loud(not that it bothered me)
First of all we should feel lucky to live right next to the ocean, so most of the seafood out restaurants have is fresh. I go to Azuma very frequantly- the service is always fast and consistant, and the food is always fresh and tasty. I have never been disapointed at azuma, unlike other japanese restaurants I have been to. I have to say after being to most in victoria this is definately in the top three when you include: price, service and taste.
If you haven't tried the oyster ponsu or Edamame beans you should
