Saint St Grill2514 St. Johns St, Port Moody
As usual you saved the week

I had the opportunity to visit one of my favourite restaurants last Friday, after a tough work week it was nice to know that the week would be capped off by some great company, food, and wine. We just love the atmosphere that this restaurant offers from its tasteful decor to the eclectic design which provides for a very enjoyable outing, it can be a quiet romantic evening or you can start a chat with the next table.

Started the evening with some wonderful appetizers, steamed mussels, very flavourful, done in a ginger broth, the usual escargot which were the usual best flavour around, and a wonderful smoked salmon, cream cheese, and toasted baguettes, not usually on the menu but was being offered as a special. For the entree I had the pork medallions that was topped off with a wonderful cilantro, tomato salsa, and my wife had the lamb shank and again incredible. Topped off the meal with a very delicious warm sticky toffee pudding served with vanilla ice cream. We honeslty feel for the quality of food and the rather large servings received the price was very well in line if not better than most fine dining establishments.

We were served by the usual wonderful staff and despite the staff being busy we were never neglected and wine glass remained full. Keep up the great work...

One of our favourite restaurants despite living 40 minutes from Port Moody, we enjoy the restaurant so much that we would rather by pass our better rated local eating establishments to visit the Saint.

We look forward to visiting again soon....
