(3.7) (4) (3.7) (3.7)Great value for a quick lunch. I think the lunch specials run around $6.95 per plate. Kung Pao chicken is great, huge serving. Best bet is to go with someone else and share a couple plates. Also try the eggplant & tofu veggie dish, and the peppering fish. Great flavour and if you like it spicy they can definitely kick it up a notch.
I have been here twice, most recently was for my birthday. It was Martini Wed, huge selection of Martini's. Sampled a few, they were excellent - great value on Wednesday's at $3.50 each. Also was pleased to see they had a great Quebec-based beer called Blanche de Chambly on tap - only place where I have found it on tap. Appies were great, I had the prawn special and the goat chees/spinach salad. Large servings. Had seafood for dinner, nice portion and very fresh. The peanut butter cheescake for dessert is fabulous!! Overall, love the atmosphere of The Vault, very busy, friendly staff, neat location, Make sure you get a look at the old bank vault when you take a trip to the bathroom.
Wow, I stumbled upon this deli through the dinehere website. Thought I would give it a try, the subs are massive. I am a regular at Subway and Quiznos, a 12" hardly fills me up. Here, I could only finish half the sandwich. At least 4" thick! The owner is pretty funny, must have watched Eddie Murphy in Delirious a few times in the 80's. Pretty crude humour, mostly ethnic based, works well in the industrial area where his business operates.
