My boyfriend and I arrived a bit early, for the start of late-night all-you-can-eat sushi which starts at 9:30 pm. We were seated at a small table. We asked if there was a larger table available, as the restaurant wasn't nearly full, but our request was refused. The food was ok, typical of all-you-can-eats - nothing spectacular. The surprise came at the end of the meal. We had parked our car in the underground parking with a big sign labeled "Tomokazu Parking". When we paid our bill we presented our parking stub but was told the parking reimbursement was honoured only for dinners, not late-night. That was no big deal, but when we went down to the parking garage, we found our car had been locked in. There was no sign at all, and no warning from the restaurant employees, that the garage is locked every night at 10 PM. (Our parking stub was valid until 11 PM!) Thankfully the restaurant had a key to let patrons back into the garage, but I was peeved that I wasn't warned ahead of time about this.
I have been to Tomokazu several times in the past, but this time is definitely my last.
