WOW
Submitted Friday, December 16, 2011 - 10:02pm [Dine in]

Surrey needs a good all you can eat place. Unfortunately, this is not it. While "dining" here we witnessed what I could only describe as atrocious food practices by the staff(more later). The food literally leaving a cesspool of oil on my plate was my first clue. The second was the people eager to BBQ warm, briny pork or chicken with only 1 utensil(mmm ecoli anyone?)The third was visiting the restroom facilities. BUT the WORST was asking for more water and literally watching the guy go to the next empty table, grab their LEFTOVER water, pour it into my jug and bring it back to me!!!! WTF stay away, far away.

Fresgo Inn Restaurant & Bakery10102 King George Highway, Surrey
Solid Eating Experience
Submitted Sunday, June 12, 2011 - 7:26am [Dine in]

Weve eaten at Fresgo's many times now and I have to say the food is very consistent. Like other reviews will tell you the buns are fresh, portions huge and food generally good tasting. I will also add that the staff are very friendly(always giving the little ones free cookies etc.). The decor is dated yes, but in an 80's retro way which goes well with the music you hear there. We particularly like the breakfast menu. Me the omelettes and the wife the eggs benny. Sure it costs just as much as say Rickys or the Pantry but the portions will fill you up till dinner(thats if you can finish). For lunch or dinner the subs(especially the super: WOW) and burgers(mushrooms anyone?) are surefire hits. We found the comfort foods(like spaghetti and meat balls)while big in portions, were generally underseasoned. I think they might do that on purpose though to appeal to an older crowd.

This restaurant won us over not by being pretensious. It is what it is and thats a good meal and a good time out.

Great Food At A Great Price
Submitted Friday, January 1, 2010 - 5:27pm [Dine in]

Yes it is a dated restaurant but the Rickshaw cant be beat for value, especially at luch. We go atleast twice monthly for luch and always order the #1. They also serve free chinese tea. Our daughter has a burger and fries and we all leave full. Considering the bill of $20 thats hard to beat. The waitresses are always friendly(giving our little one extra fortune cookies) and forever filling your water or tea. I honestly dont know why its not busier at lunch. Fine dining? No, but a quality meal(especially lunch) at a great price? Absolutely.

Good All Round Pizza

We live a km away from Omega and have ordered from them 3 times in the past 2 months. Always consistently good food, value and delivery times. Not the best za we've had, but considerably better than others(greasy hut & panacrap). Pros: Good value, quality and delivery times. Cons: somewhat limited menu.
