We recently ordered some Pizza for Delivery. I had heard that this pizza place was really good we had a menu that had been delivered to our apartment and all of us agreed that the menu was unique and the prices were reasonable. The pizza was delivered within a reasonable amount of time, I was a little alarmed when the delivery person presented the bill (it seemed higher than I remembered the menu to be) but accepted it all the same. Once inside we opened the pizza and the order seemed completely wrong. Two of us HATE mushrooms and one of them was COVERED, the other one was covered in olives, which were also not listed in either of the pizzas we ordered. We reviewed the menus again - the ingredients were listed no mushrooms or olives to be seen and called the restaurant to inform them that we had been delivered the wrong pizzas and requested that the delivery person return so that we could get our order. The person whom we spoke to rudely and informed us that those were our pizzas, he proceeded to inform us that it was our fault that we had the old menu and there had since been changes to the ingredients in some of their pizzas. He told us to "deal with it and pick the toppings off" he stated that was not his problem he would not be giving us any free pizza (which we never asked for), that he would not deliver new pizzas and that we could not return the ones we had for refund. He then told us that there was no benefit for him to try to make us happy because we would likely not return anyway — we all agreed later this was a big mistake — had we been treated respectfully and the restaurant tried to make us happy we probably would have ordered again — after all once we had picked off the undesirable toppings the pizza was pretty good. Too bad I will never try one that is more suited to my taste - I will never give this establishment another penny.
