The food at Las Margarita's is always delicious, and actually tastes like the Mexican food you would get in California. In a city that has no reputation of good mexican food, this place is a gem. What impressed me the most, however, was their amazing mojito. It was truly the best I've ever had in Vancouver.

I have been going to Sophie's regularly (once every couple weeks or so) for the past few months, having recently discovered the place. I must say, I have been very happy with the service and food each and every time. In the morning or afternoon I usually will order the Santa Fe eggs benedict. It is a poached egg (actually poached in boiling water) over cornbread instead of the standard english muffin with guacamole, amongst other things. The home fries that the dish came with are delicious as well. The portions are usually so big, that I am rarely able to finish anything I order, which is a shame because I never want to stop eating what they serve up. The Wait staff are usually quite nice, although for some reason seem to be consistently slow at bringing the cheque at the end of the meal. The eclectic decor really makes for an interesting, fun, and unique atmosphere. All in all I highly recommend this spot to anyone with a big appetite for delicious food!
