After reading good reviews about Clubhouse and driving past it on my work route, I decided to drag my boyfriend to Clubhouse with me to try it out. It was around 730 but other than the party upstairs, the place was pretty dead. The first thing we noticed was - it was very dark. We were seated right away by our friendly waitress. The fridge was broken so there was a constant hammering noise throughout our dinner- the waitress did apologize and offer to reseat us but we politely declined. We ordered 3 things - scallop and avocado roll, tuna tataki, and a seafood okonomiyaki (large). The S&A roll was disappointing, more avocado than scallop. We loved the tuna tataki. And while the okonomiyaki was tasty, it became sickening after the second helping. Overall good food, good service, but a little pricey. There was one thing that did bother us. We sat outside the kitchen so we were able to see the waitress put the ginger from our sushi plate back to reuse for the next customer. She probably thought we didn't touch it but we did eat some. I don't know if we'll be back.
