The prices at Miku are slightly higher than other Japanese restaurants but the quality of food and experience is far superior than what you would normally come across and that makes it well worth it. The staff are extremely friendly and very attentive to your needs.
We ordered the Aburi salmon oshi sushi, Ebi fritter (tiger prawns), Aburi chicken, vegetable tempura, and green tea tiramisu for dessert. Everything stood out to me except for the vegetable tempura. The Aburi salmon is a must try and I would definitely go back just to try it again. It was the best sushi I have ever had. The Ebi fritter and Aburi chicken were both delicious and tasty. I will definitely go back.
I often visit the Keg whenever I crave a steak and I have rarely been disappointed. Some of my favourite starters include the French Onion soup and Scallops & Bacon. Both are excellent.
Without a doubt, the Filet Mignon is my favourite steak. The description on the menu speaks for itself ("The Ultimate in tenderness"). Not to mention that it is wrapped in smoked bacon. You can't go wrong there. I have also tried the New York steak and it was very good. But I guess it can't all be good. I recently tried the Three Mushroom Sirloin and I was fairly disappointed. The steak was tough (I ordered medium rare but the steak was too thick) and the sauce was too salty.
The food is generally of high quality. The servers are always friendly and accommodating. Ambiance is nice and is great for special occasions. Overall, a great place for steak.
I recently tried the bubble tea here and I must say it did not disappoint. It is now my #1 choice for bubble tea.
I personally like the strawberry slush w/ pearls. The pearls were the best I have tried anywhere. The service is very prompt considering how busy it is. The one only negative would be the ambiance. I almost feel like sardines in a can when waiting for my order. However most people, including myself, go there for take out bubble tea so I don't mind it too much. Overall, definitely worth giving a try if you have not done so already.
