A perfect evening

My bf and I came in for dinner and I just had to write about our fantastic experience.. first i booked us for the vodka ice bar.. which was VERY amazing... they gave us these big coats and a fur hat and took us into the private room which is made of solid ice.. gave us a tutorial about vodka and we each had about 4 different vodka samples. amazing. We then went in for dinner and dessert which was absolutley fantastic. After dinnner, we had the Nitro ice cream which was made at our table.. unreal! The service was fantastic and it was an experience we hope to do again in the near future. The owner also took us downstairs to the wine cellar so we could see this very impressive room. Great adventure we will remember for a long time!

Marquis, The2666 Granville Street, Vancouver
Great New Place

I'm surprised there aren't any reviews for this place yet.. great lil find on Granville Street. I was getting bored of downtown and thought we'd walk along upper Granville and found this new spot. sat at the bar and was poured a strawberry beer called Fruli.. soooo good if you haven't had it before. We also had the perogies which were amazing. This place has a sexy decor which makes a great spot for a date, interesting menu and really friendly barstaff. I'm looking forward to going back for another Fruili. They have loads of beer selections and a "Man" ceaser that has a strip of bacon.. mmmmmm bacon. Anyways, definitely worth checking out.

Just like the Old Days

Wow, so I don't get out to Maple Ridge that often anymore but on a recent trek out we stopped at Dinos for dinner. Brought back so many great childhood memories. Well for one, the place looks the same lol. Two, I had the same pizza I always had 1/2 Dinos 1/2 Ted's special and it tastes like the same recipe as always. The server was sweet and said that the owners are still the same as always. That is good news. I love the lasagna. The cheese and meat sauce are soooo good. Happy to see the salad bar still too. Can't find a salad bar anywhere these days!

Well I can't wait to go back again when I get another craving for REAL pizza.
