We called in here for lunch as we're visisting from England we and dont know many lunch places in Oak Bay. We had the lunch special (soup & sandwich) and wish we hadn't bothered! The main problem was that the bread was very dry..yesterday's bread we decided..or possibly the day before! The sandwich filling was ok but definately not what we've been used to during our travels on Vancouver Island, we've had some amazing sandwiches here! The soup was only ok, again nothing special and nowhere near the standard we've been used to. We decided that this establishment is playing on the 'English teashop' theme but doesn't live up to Canadian standards. We've had much better lunches at home, and if you've been to Engalnd you'll know that Canadian sandwiches knock ours into a cocked hat!!! We wouldn't eat here again
