3 strikes and your out!
Submitted Tuesday, October 20, 2009 - 12:26pm [Dine in]

Tried this place twice when it was still in Yaletown and it was a mediocre dining experience. Decided to try this place at its new location, since it is part of the Glowbal group and i am fan of their other restuarants. I showed up on Friday evening as i had dinner reservations for 6 only to be informed that someone had already checked in and reduced the number from 6 to 4. I told her that is not the case. They told us they would correct this and just told us to wait on the side. After we were shown to our table, i found the restuarant much too packed, in order to get to your table and out, you were bumping into people. The waiter was decent, so was the service, nothing spectacular. Food was basic, nothing made me say this is amazing. Tried about 5 dishes and nothing! Overall, all hype with no substance.

Great dining experience

Am a regular of this fine establishment and everytime the food has been consistent. Went here on a Tuesday evening and was told the wait time would be approximately 45 minutes but was seated in 20 minutes. Don't mind the waiting at all as it is part of the experience, love waiting in the back with a drink and trying the various appetizer's that come out. Ordered the lamp popsicles, kebabs, saag and paneer. All was very good. Highly recommended.

Worst breakfast
Submitted Sunday, February 15, 2009 - 5:11pm [Dine in]

Went to Brioche Bakery to try it out after viewing the menu online. Ordered a custom omelette, and when it came out, it was runny and the toast was cold, not even warm, COLD. My gf asked for a coconut macaroon and it was hard as a rock. Could not even break it apart when i tried. Absolute rubbish. This wasn't random as the couple behind us had their omelettes remade. Will not be returning.

Go elsewhere
Submitted Monday, January 5, 2009 - 4:10pm [Dine in]

I came here a few weeks ago for lunch with a huge appetite and i left disappointed. Looking at the menu, it seems aright. The interior is ok, nothing special...just your generic cactus club-earls type of interior. Ordered the prime rib burger $14 and an ice tea. The service was slow and the food didn't taste good at all. For that price, i'm expecting a decent meal but it was anything but. Been here a few times and don't plan on returning again. Before i thought it may have had an off day but now it's confirmed, it's not worth it. Go elsewhere.
