No. 1 Beef Noodle House4741 Willingdon Avenue, Burnaby
Definately Gone Downhill

This place has definately gotten worst at almost everything you can think off. The only off-chance that my buddies and I went here was on a pretty busy night. I can't remember their food and drinks being so overcooked and flat. Server seemed confused on what our table wanted. Dunno, if you want to compete with so many other options next door, I think they got to do better.

Funky little place

I would have to say the ambiance is probably one of their better traits. Think Japanese Izakaya but Korean style and Burnaby. Their food is not bad, but nothing outstanding either. I guess what I'm trying to say is I have gotten better for better prices elsewhere. Oh, and where's all the extra Korean condiment side dishes? I always look forward to these at Korean cuisines. Service is friendly and fast.

Good Find

I would have never thought there to be a place like this in the neighborhood. PDT serves some pretty good drinks with a big emphasis on making fresh tea (kudos to that). Too many bubble-tea shops cut on quality now-a-days. My fav has got to be their matcha with fresh taro - I mean, OMG! who would have thought? They got a lot of other creative things on the menu. Their coconut curry chicken on rice is a sure hit with me and my friends too. I will warn you in advance, like the other reviewers, its not a typical bubble-tea joint, but definately worth your visit and hard earned money.
