Manager is an absolute joke. Disgustingly rude.
Submitted Wednesday, December 7, 2011 - 12:02am [Dine in]

I always take out-of-towners to this place. It's a good value for a respectable flavour. I went in today (Dec 6th) around lunch time. The restaurant was not even half full. I asked the hostess if we can be seated at a table where I saw people already seating. She gave some BS reason about "No. We're trying to clear out that area." Whatever. We were guided to a dark area and the table was wobbly. Literally after 2min, I see another group coming in, and she freaking point to the table I was pointing at before. After 5 minutes, nobody even shows up at our table for the first time. Not even a glass of water or a menu. I walked up to the counter and asked if I can talk to the manager.
A guy who's making drinks tells me, "Talk to me." Without even looking at me. I tell him what happened and he says, "I don't know, maybe they were too busy then." I tell him literally it was 2 minutes ago. (Plus the restaurant is half empty. Is he dumb or does he think I am?) And then he tells me, "Look, I don't want to argue, what is the problem with your table anyways?" All this time, he doesn't even look at me once.

I had to explain myself by saying I'm not trying to cause any commotion.
But seriously, this guy is the manager? Isn't the managers suppose to be professionals who actually care about the customers when their employees are rude? He should not be working as a manager or in a restaurant at all. What a joke. I've been going to Stephos for few years now, quite frequently, and never been treated like this.
I don't know what you're doing but Stephos, you need to be better at hiring people.
That hostess and the manager is a reflection of your absolute lack of awareness as far as customer service goes.
