(3.2) (3.8) (2.3) (2.5) (2.7)... so I wait 4 years to review this place again. If you want to hear about how it went 4 years ago check out "Did Someone Order Food Poisoning For 3?". Went back to the Noodle Box about 3 or 4 times in the last year and it was really good. Pricey for sure. But tasty. Last night I enjoyed a Spicy Peanut Tofu box. Tasted great. If you have read "Did Someone Order Food Poisoning For 3?" already you know what happened next....
Always a treat to come to Topanga and get some tasty food. The chips are salsa are the best in town, you can order both to go and take home a large serving.
some of my favourites include the burrito, prawn taco salad, and nachos.
to the fellow in the review below... who said the chips looked and taste like they are out of a Que Pasa bag.. learn the history of the restaurant and understand why.
Ok. How anyone... ie. the 2 reviews below can say anything more than "desent" when referring the Whitey is an amazement to me.
White spot are baskets away from being Red Robin and cardboard boxes away from being Mcds. The food is horrible. They pile the mayo onto everything. They cook up greasy fries and have very over priced salads and sandwiches.
for the amount you are all paying atleast go to Earles or Cactus Club - at least they take a little bit of pride in their food.
Went here after a number of friends have told me this is one of the better pizza places in town. The atmosphere was horrible - in a mall, tin chairs, small tables. The service was sub-par unattentive stqaff, one girl actually said - oh I am not your server, I'll get someone else to help you - instead of passing a drink order to our server. the food was very good. good sized portions, excellent thin-crust pizzza.
this is the place to eat for casual sushi in vancouver. I eat here with friends and take my mother all the time. everyone feels welcome. nice young staff. owner is a good guy who will always take the time to chat. the tuna tempura is the best part of the menu!! Only downfall - if you order take out it will take twice as long as they say to be ready.
The food here is amazing. The flavours and sauces are by far the best of any restaurant of this type in Vancouver. The take-out food is great too. Very simple in the boil-a-bag over a bowl of rice. Great service - friendly owner and staff.

So this used to be the best hole in the wall in Kits. Very intimate and a great place to enjoy well made food at a reasonable price.... then I started the realise the service was getting worse and worse and worse... then it became painfully obvious the entire staff we putting 10 grams of cypress powder up their noses every night. too bad - i guess the place was slow enough for them to mess around. It is just lame to wait 20 minutes to see a server when they are all huddled in the back room together doing blow.
While the beer might be a bit pricey. it is whistler. this place has a great feel to it. Everyone is always friendly and the beer is always fresh. Great place to sit outside and enjoy a pint in the summer and bikers come down the hill.
This place has some of the best burgers in the city. amazing food. the turkey burger is the best I have ever had. The new location is great - much bigger, cleaner, more seating. The kids that work there are a bunch of punks. I guess they don;t have a manager - it is a bunch of 15 year olds with attitude. The bad staff is close to out-weighing the good food.
