(2.3) (2.8) (2.3) (4) (2.8)Went here for dinner tonight we got the 22 dollar all you can eat menu.. I was pleasantly surprised . They didn't skimp on anything and it was probably the best looking AYCE sushi I've seen in the lower mainland. The service was good. The seafood/sushi was fresh and the kitchen food was hot. We will definitely go back.
From the looks of the original restaurant on the corner of 56th and 203 you wouldn't expect such good food! The prices are reasonable, the food is delicious, and the staff are super nice. The best sushi I have had in Langley for sure. I haven't tried the new restaurant by the pricesmart yet, but I assume that it will be just as good, just possibly with a little more ambience.
Twice now I've been to Earl's in Langley in the past month and received terrible service. The first time it was quite busy, and we had to wait a 1/2 hour for a table for two. Which is fine it was a sunday night in langley.. it's busy. However once seated we sat there for 25 minutes and NO ONE came to take even a drink order. All around us people were complaining about their food being cold etc. So we walked out.
Last night we decided to try it again, at 4:30pm. The place was empty maybe 4 tables with customers. About 8 waiters/waitresses milling about looking cranky. We stood at the front for 10 minutes before being seated. Then again waited and waited. Finally took our drink order. All the while making excuses that the place was busy. one waiter came by and THREW a candle down on our table. The food was ok, lukewarm but ok. The service was not even close to being ok.
We'll never go back again. Its so surprising though because Earl's in other locations can be so good.
Went here with a girlfriend before a movie a couple weeks ago. First of all the menu is terrible, no descriptions on anything. I ordered the asian chicken salad and it had banana peppers on it. Weird, but whatever. We ordered our food around 8:30 a chicken sandwich and yam fries and a salad. We didn't get our meal until 9:40. The waitress rarely came by and took forever replacing drinks. It was seriously the worst service I have had in ages.
The bathrooms are really nice though.
