i agree that the place is a bit inaccessible, however their food is worth the trip there.
i went with 2 other friends on a sunday, around 8:30pm and the place was very quiet... maybe 2 other tables were occupied. i had heard good things about the restaurant so we decided to dine.
the food was very well priced, with tofu soups only setting you back $9 maybe? the soups come in iron bowls, keeping it piping hot, and the rice came in its own iron pot too! the waiter scooped it out into a bowl for us; freshly cooked rice was very tasty.
the pajyun (seafood pancake) is definitely worth ordering! i've had many around vancouver, but none as fluffy and crisp on the outside.
and of course, the side dishes are all you can eat- the seaweed was very tasty, as well as the potato.
