(3.5) (3.3)I find it's hard to find a really good pasta spot where the food is well seasoned. A lot of pasta places have very bland sauces and I have to add seasoning myself when I get home.
All of the Pasta Polo dishes that I have tried have been very nicely seasoned and I highly recommend this place to others. My favorite is the Baked Gnocchi with 4 cheese sauce, add Prawns & Chicken. The restaurant space itself is cozy and inviting.
I love Dim Sum and Luxe is the best that I have tried by far. I tend to stick to my favorites: Bean Curd, Sticky Rice, Shrimp Dumpling, Deep Fried Shrimp Roll, Pork Dumpling, Spare Ribs in Black Bean Sauce and a few others. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and were very helpful in figuring out what my dairy-allergic son could eat. They remember me now when I come in and bring me my favorites right away.
The restaurant itself is bright and airy and the decor is classy - go early as it fills up quickly!
My husband is from California and before trying Me-N-Eds, was completely loyal to his favorite pizza chain - Dominos. I have had him try many different pizzas here in Canada but couldn't find anything that he liked as much.
Since we tried Me-N-Ed's pizza I don't think he even remembers who the other guys are. The crust is awesome, nice and light, flaky and thin without being a hard crunchy cracker crust. Our standard favorite is now the Me-N-Ed's Combo, minus pineapple and add shrimp. The wings are good too!
My husband and I own a restaurant and feel it's rare to find a really good restaurant in the Langley/Surrey area. Ashoka is one of the best!
We never eat inside the restaurant since we usually have to pick up just before closing, but the dining room is always beautifully appointed when we come in. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful if you want to try something new and our food is always awesome! Butter Chicken, Aloo Gobi, Samosas, Garlic Naan, Palak paneer - it's all great!
