I went to Bin last nigh. Didn't have too great of an experience!
Heard of this restaurant so much, wanted to give it a try for our 1st year anniversary. I mean I don't mine spending the money but it got to be worth it right.
I thought the restaurant was a lot nicer than it is
I will expect it to be a lot more comfortable
I thought that the food will be at least comparable to bishop's
I will think they will have a more local drink list since they are serving local ingredients why charge $9 for a Import beer?
I am not an expert with food but it is nothing that WOW me and my partner
We waited at least 15 min for each dish to come out and is just a bit
We ordered 5 dishes at $16 each and had a bottle of wine at around $65
It wasn't too much money that we spend on our anniversary but we didn't have a good time at all
We were siting by the entrance the wind that was coming in as others guests were coming in and out, it wasn't comfortable.
I mean for the price that they charge, I am sure the owner can buy a heater or something
They have this silver mental thing as decor (like a big piece of stainless steel cured mirror or something) by the door which is very uneasy on the eye- felt that it doesn't go with the warm, dim room with red light. maybe just where I am siting but it just brother me.......
The red light bulbs that is used are cheap looking- change it to LED or something (I suggest)
Maybe is the uncomfortable sit and the wait time of each dish. That's why!!
I really want to hear feedback about the ambiance from others.
I mean not wanted to sound biased but if you been to bishop's you know the room is just simple but comfortable
Well I like hip places too but I think there are so much more nicer and better restaurant in Vancouver
It might be a place for you but I will definitely not go back
